I'm so sorry that you had to battle this awful illness as a child. BUT your message gives us a tremendous amount of hope!! I LOVE hearing that you have a great, full life!
Meningitis is such a horrible illness. I'm still pretty traumatized by the whole experience.
I'm actually starting a web site that will put parents of newly diagnosed children in touch with one of "us"... parents who have "been there". I would LOVE for you to tell your story for the site. Perhaps your parents could help write it? I'm trying my best to launch it by the end of March.
